Is There A Cure for Panic Attacks And Anxiety?

What is the most common question that anxious people ask? "Is there a cure for panic attacks and anxiety" is without a doubt one that is spoken more than most others. And it makes sense that they ask such a question so often too. Living with anxiety and panic attacks is really hard not only on the sufferer, but on their loved ones as well!

But there comes a point when asking the same question over and over and not taking any action becomes counter productive and a waste of time at best. When the real desire for the answer is overshadowed by the need to keep asking just to feed the OCD that comes with an anxiety disorder, there is a conflict.

I've seen it a thousand times as an ex-anxiety sufferer. You join discussion boards and forums to talk with other people that have an anxiety and panic disorder. You may post your story and a huge list of your symptoms, and you will likely get a lot of replies.

The problem that I see a lot of times is that this behavior doesn't really beg the question "is there a cure for panic attacks and anxiety" as much as it simply satisfies the need to talk about a persons anxiety so they can feel better about it.

Is there a cure for panic attacks and anxiety?

Sure there is, but it will continue to elude those who spend a lifetime searching for the next list of symptoms and the next forum filled with similarly anxious people. Sometimes in life it is impossible to move forward without...moving forward!

I don't think that people who are miserable by anxiety and trapped in their life from constant panic and fear want to find out if there is a cure or a treatment available to them. It seems easier to continue posting and reading stories from other folks with anxiety.

This does not really help. There is one way to cure anxiety and live a normal life, and talking about it on forums constantly is not the best way. I mean, at the end of the day what difference does it make if some stranger on the internet has the same symptoms and similar story as you do?

Why would a person even want to have that association in the first place? When I had extreme anxiety I wanted one thing. I wanted to get rid of those feelings and live a normal life. Constant discussion about a disorder only reinforces it in the mind, it does not make it go away.

When I learned that was when I made all of my progress.

In a world where billion dollar drug companies control just about everything related to your health, it seems like the first priority for so many people would be to break their grip on us! By taking prescriptions and searching endlessly for a magic button to take all the pain away, they are only hurting themselves though.

Panic attacks and anxiety are a terrible thing to go through, but it doesn't have to be that way. By actively searching for an anxiety cure which will help you control your thought pattern you are in essence telling your anxiety that it has no place in your life.

By continuing to search aimlessly on forums and message boards for who has the worst symptoms of anxiety and panic, nobody is really getting any better at all.

In fact, this kind of reinforcement through discussion is actually making you a lot worse than you could imagine. There is a life after anxiety and it is one filled with calm and tranquility. The only way to break the cycle that such a disorder has on you is to take charge of your life and decide that it can't control you any longer.
