Downton Abbey is a British television show which takes place in the era around World War I. It features the sprawling mansion "Downton Abbey" which houses the Crawley's and their servants.
When the rightful heir to the estate and his son are killed on the Titanic, hope of peaceful living in the majestic Downton fade away as the plotting for rule begins.
