It is not your destiny to live your whole life in a constant state of panic. You would be surprised at how many methods exist for the treatment of anxiety and panic attacks these days. There are countless ways in which you can learn to control the anxious thoughts that are keeping you awake at night. We are all different though, so finding a treatment that is right for you may take a bit of time at first.
Some folks realize that if they find and talk to other like-minded people they start to feel better quicker. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a good online discussion group to talk with that has other people who are also suffering from anxiety and panic attacks though. Most people do find that talking to others in forums is the best idea to help them get a grip on how they feel.
It's just too hard to keep all of those feelings stuffed down inside of yourself sometimes many people find. You may also find it helpful to track your progress in a diary, whether it be online or on paper. You can write to make yourself feel better about your anxiety. Don't make all of you writing negative though. There are good things in life and it's important to realize that and take note.
If you don't talk in some way though, you may find that you start feeling worse about your anxiety. It is even harder when others do not know what you are going through. It's hard to fault them however. Non-anxious people simply don't get why anxious people are the way we are. But once you learn to get some of that anxiety out by letting others know you will start to feel better.
And no matter what, remember . The anxiety and panic attacks that you have may not be much fun but you are not going to die from them! While a panic attack may be scary people never die from them because they do not kill people. If you can get through the worst attacks you will find that you will become a stronger person for it.
