Maybe You Have An Anxiety Disorder - You Don't Have To Live With This Forever!

There are a lot of people who would find great benefit in being able to gain control of the anxiety that is controlling their lives, and you are one of them. Isn't the thought of going through life without the scared thoughts and panicked mind too much to even imagine for you? At the very least, it would be really a big help for people like you if the anxiety and panic didn't just come out of the blue like it does, when you are trying to enjoy your life for a few minutes.

Then you could be free of the side-effects of anxiety and panic that cause unwanted thoughts to race through your mind. Anxiety also causes an extremely upset stomach and nausea for a lot of sufferers, which accompanied with the feeling that you are going to faint or pass out is just too much to deal with.

But at least you know that you aren't the only one. It is good to know that so many other people have anxiety as well, and not some scary mental illness or something even worse. Some people are even learning really good coping skills to deal with their anxiety in a way that makes the negative thoughts less of a scary experience for them.

You already know that when something happens at your job that you are unsure of, you may become very anxious. But once you realize that nothing is wrong you quickly feel better about that situation, don't you? It is a good thing to remember that having feelings like this are really normal for everyone, and in times when you are stressed these thoughts are simply bound to happen.

When you no longer become calm at the end of a situation in which you should have realized that there is not any real danger, you can easily become panicked and very anxious indeed.

The reason that you become anxious like this is because of adrenaline in your body. As your brain sees a situation and decides whether or not there is danger present, it sends the signal to your body to start the adrenaline flow. The purpose of this is to get you ready to either flee a situation, stay and "fight" or freeze to avoid the danger.

This is all a natural bodily instinct that is meant to keep us safe and survive any situation we come across. When you are anxious, these are some of the things that are happening to you. Let's now see if there is anything that you can do to avoid this type of thing in the future so that you don't have to feel like this anymore.

There is one thing that you must do in order to live so that anxiety is not in control. When life or a certain event makes you extra anxious just be sure to not give into the fear and run away. When you run away or hide from a situation in this manner, you are simply letting your mind know that whenever it is anxious, you will run away to safety.

If you want to teach your anxiety who is in control, this is not the way to go. Most people who find relief from anxiety know that they only feel better once they realize that life must be lived whether they are feeling anxious or not.

And slow down once in a while. Have you noticed that when you run around trying to do a lot of things at once that you are more prone to panic and general feelings of anxiety? Well, the best way to avoid this is to make sure that you aren't rushing around when you have things that need to be done.

Set a schedule and stick to it if you have to, but whatever you do don't let life get so chaotic that you are unable to function without feeling so horrible all of the time from panic and anxiety.

And don't think that you have to deal with this anxiety and panic forever, because you do not. People are finding a lot of ways to control their panic and anxiety without any medication. Natural remedies for anxiety are very popular these days as are behavioral therapy and herbal remedies.

Find the best remedy for you and let those anxious thoughts go where they belong once and for all. For more information on anxiety and how to get rid of it, visit our blog at: http://www.squidoo.com/natural-remedies-for-anxiety1
